DH has just been to grab my repeat prescription....

There is no stock of Victoza, and my GP haven't given the pharmacy an alternative despite telling me 2 weeks ago I'd be prescribed a SGLT2 inhibitor

So i have my last injection tonight (may do half dose) and then have to wing it over the weekend!

Is the GP concerned? I wouldn't know as I can't speak to one till next week... and I don't have £300 to order privately

I do hope all the people who buy it online as a weight loss drug are happy, as the NHS now can't prescribe to people using it to control Diabetes!

The NHS can’t prescribe it because they won’t pay the amount for it that the company can sell it for for weight loss.

It should have been ringfenced for the NHS in the first place
