Should I be worried about possible diabetes?

My son is 2 years old. He has had continuous viral infections for the past 6 months. Doctor said "lockdown baby" ect He has lost his appetite and is very thin. In October I took him to the GP and she tested his blood sugar. He had only had some milk a few hours prior to this. Nothing to eat. It was 8.9 said it was fine I didn't worry about it and left it. This past week he has been excessively drinking and urinating so much he fills his nappy. He is also eating ALOT. Which we were overjoyed with as he had hardly any appetite a month ago. Should I be concerned about diabetes or is he just becoming well again? TIA

I'd take him to A&E now.

I'm not trying to scare you but he's very young and diabetes can escalate quickly. You've got a lot of the t's there...
Thirst
Toilet
Thin

The last one is tired....

Xxx

Yes please go to A&E. Symptoms are worrying and not happy about an 8.9 after just a glass of milk hours before :(
If anything to eliminate T1 as a cause. Here and hand holding x
