Can't maintain sugar levels

I have gestational diabetes for the second time but this time it's proving really difficult.

I'm injecting insulin with meals and a slow release at night time however for the last 36 hours I'm struggling to maintain my levels and they are continuously low, when they do drop I'm literally fighting to get them back up. This afternoon it took well over an hour to get it from 4.1 to 5.

I have spoken to my diabetes team who basically said we don't know what's going on, see how they are tomorrow.

Now they don't class them as low low because I start to display symptoms by the time I hit around 4.8. Which I have 6 times today, nothing in my diet has been any different, stress levels as usual etc etc.

Any ideas? Or suggestions?

I'm due to see the consultant next week but that's a long time away and I'm concerned the affect this maybe having on my baby, but no-one seems bothered by it despite being told anything under 3 and I must be checked.
I'm just watching it fall all the time

How low are they going. What times are you checking them and how much insulin are you having.

do you feel unwell at 4.1 .
my daughter... not gestational diabetes or diabetes but a different disorder has blood sugar issues and we've been told above 2.8 is normal.

I become symptomatic around 4.8-5, anything below 4.1 ish and my vision becomes impaired. I'm meant to check them an hour after eating but I also check them when I become symptomatic.

What are you eating/drinking in an average day?
