Immune system shot to shit since having a baby

My DD is 2 and the last two years have been horrendous.

Immediately after she was born I started having foot infections - as soon as one foot calmed down the other one got infected - this went on for 18 months. Then it was months of thrush.

Since last November I have had colds and flus almost continuously, each time knocking me out and taking at least 2 weeks to get over. Twice it has been the case that I’ll be sick for 2 weeks, fine for 1 week and then pick up another bloody cold.

I am at my wits’ end. I can’t even contemplate having another baby but everything is suffering - my social life, my work, my family life.

My sugars are OK controlled - but better than ever since I gave up chocolate 2 months ago.

Does anyone have any advice? Even a doctor I could go and see? I’ve booked an apptmt with my GP but doubt he’ll be much use.

Do you attend a Diabetes Consultant/Endocrinologist? That's who I would ask. You could ask your GP to do a HBa1c and check your vitamin d levels.
