Treat for Type diabetes children

It's my child's birthday tomorrow and he'd like to take sweets in to give out to his class at the end of the day - two children in his class have type 1 diabetes and I realise they can have a small bag of sweets when planned but is there something better anyone can suggest that I can send him in with for those children? Many thanks in advance.

The best thing is if they have exactly the same as everyone else. If it’s a small bag from a larger packet, and the larger packet tells you how many grams of carbohydrate there are in each small bag, maybe write that on a note for them. They need to know Total carbs not “of which sugar”

Thanks for your reply that's helpful - to be honest I wish I'd been more organised so I could have got something for everyone that isn't sweets!
