I live next door to my mum with my family and she has vascular dementia. Im finding it so hard caring for her in between working full time. She is 80 years old. My dad died Christmas Day last year he had vascular dementia too from a stroke he had had at least 10 years ago. Anyone got any tips/advice?

Sorry to read this. As somebody that has been in a similar situation I’d recommend getting some help in for her. To help her wash, to change the beds and clean. The things that will take you time and cause stress when you have so much on. Then the time you have with her is more valuable and you will be less irritable! Yes it costs. But it is in her and your best interest.
