Carers and Covid Vaccination

I contacted a care agency for care for a parent. It seems they are not able to ask their staff if they have had Covid jabs or not.

Does anyone know if this is the case with all care agencies and is a legal thing? Thanks

Oh I don't know about that sorry. It will be interesting to see if anyone does know.

Oh that's odd. My relative works for a care agency and all their staff have been vaccinated

Has your parent been vaccinated OP?

If you get no joy on this topic, you may want to post on legal matters.

Hi. Thanks for your replies. My parent hasn't been vaccinated yet. She wouldn't go to a vaccination center so I have requested that she is vaccinated in her home.

I am going to phone another care agency to compare. I will feel better if we can get a carer who has been vaccinated, has regular flow tests and wears full PPE.

The whole process of sorting my parent out is so SLOW. Anyone else finding this?

It's difficult to get her to go to appointments and she wasn't having a great day. She doesn't understand covid.
