MIL recently moved into a warden assisted flat. Still very much in the settling in period. Have to keep confirming this is her home now. Carers come in 4 Times a day to check she’s up/meds’ etc. She can shower and dress and make her breakfast - they just keep an eye on her. She’s made a couple of friends, although often forgets that she’s met them before!
The real problem at the moment is whenever family have visited, she does t want them to leave. Tonight my SIL had her to dinner but she then didn’t want to return to her flat, wanted to stay which for various reasons is just not practical - large dog, full time work etc.
How do you deal with this? Just finding it upsetting for everyone.
