Restpite care home stay, how long?
Blossombee · 10/01/2017 18:24
Hi I'm just wondering if anyone knows how long a person can stay in a respite for in a residential/nursing home? I need to recover from illness but I was told it could take months. :(

Hi OP - at my care home we can have respite for however long needed. We take many residents in for respite with no 'leaving date', and play by ear until they/caregiver is ready. Hope this helps
