Lie ins at the weekends.

I am curious about dads and lie ins.. do you want them (probably yes!) do you ask for them from your other halves or are you up and looking after the children from when they wake?

If you do have a lie in, is that due to your work (are you a shift worker) or just a 'luxury' you have? Just curious to know if I am too kind to dh with our 2 children.

I get up at six every morning for work, usually waking DW up and sometimes DS (8months) as well, so at weekends I get up first, spend some time with DS having breakfast together and let DW sleep through. She usually emerges about 10am, barely human, by which time DS and I are looking forward to our first snooze.
