dp the other day was talking about how I used to wear stockings etc pre-kids; I don't now; it used to be something I'd do if we were going out for the evening which we did a lot more as you can imagine. he was talking about how nice it was and how he wanted a bit more bedroom action

anyway his birthday is coming up and I wondered would it be really mean to buy myself some stockings and suspenders etc as part of his present? he is really difficult to buy for never wants anything or can think of anything for people to get him. Or would it seem a bit selfish? I think he would know it was for him.

I need a bloke's opinion!

I like the lingerie express one.

I have no issue with it - a gift is something that will make someone happy, that (imo) you only give if YOU are also happy with it.

He misses her wearing said things.

She likes them and thinks it would make him happy.

Tis a nice gift.

i'm a shoddy feminist though. I let two blokes put the oil in my car for me today, even though I am perfectly capable, because they leapt up and appeared to want to be gentlemanly

I think it's a lovely idea, onlywondering. Don't listen to VVV - all you're doing is showing your husband you want to have fun with him on his birthday, doing something you'll both enjoy. Just don't buy anything in red - it's a myth that all men like red stuff. Play safe with black.

Just like in the TV program Coupling, I thought there was only one pair of suspenders in the World and they were shared around via a secret network. Women are expelled from the network after they get married. I don't believe any of the pictures on the Internet, they must all be airbrushed.

On the subject of womens underwear. Why do they find it so difficult wearing pants and bra that match. Is it a rule or a fashion statement? I never go out with socks that don't match, how difficult can it be?
