Dh has just texted me to say he feels like he's wasting his life - what can I say to reassure him?

He works incredibly hard to support ds and i. he leaves the house at quarter to 8 and gets back after 7 in the evening. he doesn't like his job much. he's a great dad and i love him to bits (even though i whinge about him on here!)

What can I say other than "No you're not"?

Agree, it does sometimes feel like being a hamster on a treadmill.

Variation is key, but he needs get finger out and make it happen instead of feeling self pity.

Try book him on wee trips away, or even a family trip to cinema when he can sit in silence for 2 hours but still have a good time with family to get out the rut.
