DIESEL in a PETROL Car.

My petrol was in the red, and I went to the petrol station and inadvertently put 42pence worth of Diesel in before realising that it was Diesel, I then put £30.00 worth of Petrol in should I take the car to the Garage. I drove the 300yards home but wandered if it will be ok.

I haven't told Dh as he would be slightly upset [huge understatement emotion]

last time i filled up qwas in merthyr asda and it was 1.29

Bought my Diesel Bongo in end of Sept last year 1st fill up was 97p a litre, went yesterday and paid £1.31!

I am in North Dorset.

it's 1.30 for diesel thismorning here in southest devon, and 1,15 for petrol.
