DH's / DP's, did / do you find your wife attractive while she was / is pg?

Did you find you DW / DP attractive while she was PG? especialy towards to end of the pregnancy? Or did you not want to go near her?

Am to admit my DH wont even cuddle me at the mo, I'm 33+4 and I suppose I'm not at my most attractive right now. He wont even cuddle me if I ask for one, just squeeze's (SP?) my hand.

Are there any women who found that their DH's / DP's did this?

You are SO welcome. I wish that i hd been able to talk to someone who had been through it nd it all worked out ok... all i had was people who made me feel there was something so terribly wrong with it! Not til afterwards did i start to find i had not had a very abnormal experience

Much like sixofone, i had to ask for cuddles! I didnt remember havig to ask for them before! This has still been a bit of an issue, not so much as it was but he for a long while afterwards ( becasue it then became an issue with the milky boobs... silly arse!) He now does cuddle freely and I am still breast feeding nearly 9 months on... but i supposed i'm not all leaky like i was in the early days!

He even rolled over sunday morning and squeezed said boobs!!!! i was gob smacked! I giggled so much he stopped! oops....

anyway, do post anytime, honestly, i'm happy to talk bout any of it if you need to.

DH has been a little bit better since the weekend, well he's not actually 'running' away from me anymore, maybe some of the hints I've been dropping have worked their way into his head. [hopeful emoticon]

He did acutaly rub my bump the other day, so I am just hoping it is more a case of him being scared of hurting me and the baby.

I dont think he ever rubbed my bump when i was awake ... he was kicked plenty of times in the back at night time... he would then roll round and pat her and she would kick back. sometimes hed stroke her gently and sh'ed kick back. I actually said to him one morning how lovely it was and he denied all knowledge! SO weird the whole thing was...

He's even been talking about us having another in a couple of years. I tell you what, he'd better make some assurances this time. I'm not going through that again!

You just wait though, as soon as your little baby is out in yours and his arms, he will be a changed man my DD has been a daddies girl since very early on. I dont get a look in at the weekend! so have faith, it will all come good.

they're strange creatures these men need alot more nurturing and reassurance than we think when we're preg. its all so strange for them to watch ( ok, so NOT all of them, but a fair few... ) the impending responsibility of having two people to 'look after' etc...
