Iggle-Piggle comes out of the closet and admits that all that prancing around was just type-casting and he wants to go away and be a sailor with lots of men in uniform.

Social Services visit the Pontipines, Mr and Mrs Pontipine are arrested for recklessly endangering their children, who are all taken into care.

Pinky Ponk runs over Upsy-Daisy, causing a career-ending injury. He is done for drink-driving, descends into alocoholism and ends up drifting aimlessly around and banging into trees.

Upsy-Daisy, being deprived of her career earnings, seduces Makka-Pakka, marries and has a child by him. She then divorces him and makes a mint from his 60's recording success, making herself such a pariah in the Night Garden that she has to emigrate to Fimble Valley.

The Hoo-haas have a party and play a drunken game of darts which all ends in tears.

The Tombliboos feature in the program "Neighbours from Hell" after running around without their clothes on for so long.

What about the wottingers? Perhaps the last episode is when we finally see inside their house and find that it leads to a vast space-age undersea base from which they have been plotting everyone's downfall...
