MrMariella · 09/05/2007 20:14

feckin wuzzes.

Kevlarhead · 09/05/2007 23:00

Don't knock it, people are being near universally complementary about their men. You know how long it'll be before we see another thread like that? Feckin' ages, that's how long.

MrMariella · 09/05/2007 23:10

I know. Twas being playful, Kev.

NappiesGalore · 09/05/2007 23:11

So was I; maybe the other 364 days of "DH is a useless bastard" have got me a bit uptight...

Kevlarhead · 09/05/2007 23:59

Oh bleeding hell...

linky

Wotzsaname · 10/05/2007 00:05

I read this (or similar)
5 things a dh/dp should do to keep his dw/dp happy:

  1. Tell her, once in a while, she is lovely
  2. Buy her gifts
  3. Take her shopping
  4. Listen to her fav songs
  5. Always be there for her

a woman need only do one thing to keep dh/dp happy..

  1. Show up naked with beer!

...get over it.

MrMariella · 10/05/2007 00:13

wotsa - you are partialy making Kev's point in a new way.

Wotzsaname · 10/05/2007 00:15

Not sure what I was doing, this thread just reminded me of it thats all. I am not a deep person!

VeniVidiVickiQV · 10/05/2007 00:15

Wouldnt hurt to have a "what I love about my missus" thread now and again either you know.....

MrMariella · 10/05/2007 00:19

oh, just that it's all a bit stereo-typical and dismissive. Beer and sex. Comfortable stuff.

I'm sure it's meant in a good humourus way, and I DON'T want a war!!!

Occassionally when one reads some of the Rel. threads, its as if the poster complaining has no sense of responsibility for marrying/living with the "inadeqate" in hte first place.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 10/05/2007 00:22

well...thats kinda human nature innit?

MrMariella · 10/05/2007 00:23

Which bit, VVVV? The stereo- bit or the "blame someone else" bit??

unknownrebelbang · 10/05/2007 00:24

both, surely?

Wotzsaname · 10/05/2007 00:25

yea what she said

!

VeniVidiVickiQV · 10/05/2007 00:28

the blame someone else bit.

MrMariella · 10/05/2007 00:28

ooops. getting a bit lost on assumptions here!!

we all do work in stereo-types to some degree - you have to. yes. but to suggest all a woman has to do is those two things is just a bit wrong. I don't know any man like that.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 10/05/2007 00:31

I do! Sad, but true

Wotzsaname · 10/05/2007 00:32

It was printed on a tea mug in a shop. It was a joke.

I didn't buy it, but some-one must be otherwise they wouldn't be selling them. John Lewis I think it was, posh shop, no tat!

MrMariella Have you ever been to Blackpool? If not don't go, you will not like what you see.

MrMariella · 10/05/2007 00:33

Oh I luuurve Blackpool. Well, a bit!!

VeniVidiVickiQV · 10/05/2007 00:34

You do have to search them out, but they are there

MrMariella · 10/05/2007 00:34

So THATS where I'm going wrong!!! Beer and sex!!

Wotzsaname · 10/05/2007 00:35

True...the road out is lovely.....

VeniVidiVickiQV · 10/05/2007 00:37
