Car Opinions - BMW 5 Series or Audi A6?

Hi,
DH planning to buy a car....any strong opinions either way? these are the two options? (we have 2 children and lots of stuff!)

dh has his flash side too! can be a right scruffy so-and-so too though but loves his BMW!

We're swopping our car in for a BMW X5 in the next few weeks...I don't think they're chavvy but they are seen as flash git cars I think. It wont stop me driving it though as it looks really comfy if nothing else.. (dont think they tend to sell it on being 'comfy' though, so they tend to push the 'flash' bit!

is an X5 the same as 5 series (ie normal car?) Hell, whatdo I know! Sorry to be so ignorant (and on the men's room too!)

I am driving my 5th 5 series (touring) and they have all been FAB

DH just got rid of his Audi - didn't like it or the local Audi garage - and replaced it with a BMW 5 series, which seems spacious, comfortable, no problems at all yet.

No I think it might be me that's wrong! Are the 5 series the great big long BM's that are rather gorgeous and can be convertible? If so, I think they're rather classy looking actually.

5 series are the long cars that also can bn convertible but the Bm X5 is the range rover/ land rover style ones

We have just traded our car in & got an Audi A4 SE TDI we love it, it is comfortable, spacious & fab there will be no turning back for us now

I would go for my P-reg Fiat Punto every time!

eekk dont go for Punto as they get flattened like a pancake doing 40mph!!...not reliable at all - sorry

Used to have a bright yellow punto convertible a 'tarts car' as my male friend used to call it God I love that car!! Then I got pregnant - baby seat was too wide for the back seat so it had to go . Still like 'em now.

audi is great my friends hubby has one and he loves it, he also has a bmw 5 but is getting rid of it, although it is nice too, but Audi is all you see on the autobond!
