So come home with ds and there is a tampon left in bathroom, I know it's not wife's as she doesn't use them, she has had two female friends over in day after dropping respective kids at school till lunchtime. (They also both have keys to our house) and both claim its not theirs so now wife thinks I have had someone over WWYD?

I suspect it belongs to one of your wife's friends who is too embarrassed to say and thinks you are bonkers for asking.

BandeauSally · 13/06/2017 13:59

It's the Tampon fairy's. She visits homes at random and delivers spare tampons in case of emergency. She takes no responsibility for domestic disputes as a result of her gifts. Wink

I suspect it's one of your wife's friends too, maybe they forgot or are embarrassed because they feel like they're being accused of something.

DeleteOrDecay · 13/06/2017 14:19

I think it's one of your wife's friends too. Chances are it fell out of their bag/pocket without even realising hence why they have said its not theirs.

My cats love a good tampon! (New, not a used one obviously).

They manage to get them out and flick them round like little white fluffy mice.

Actually quite humiliating when a guest uses my toilet and the cats been at my Tampax so there is a battered tampon just chilling out on my bathroom floor.

Do you have cats too? Grin

Wtf have I just read

NewDayDawning · 13/06/2017 15:27

Two of your wife's friends have keys to your house?

You asked them both if they left a tampon at your house?

And now your wife thinks you're bringing women home.

You are both bonkers and obviously have problems.

I love that your a regular poster, it makes the whole thing so much weirder.

BreakingDad77 · 13/06/2017 17:12

No I haven't asked her friends, that would be weird, she asked them I'm guessing from her accusationary message. All three were in the house together in the day but left before she went out in evening.

Perhaps it is a ghost, my wife has said she thought my mum didn't like her (before she did) My mum joked about haunting me after she died and didn't like something.

That's probably it.... Only thing that makes sense really...

PacificDogwod · 13/06/2017 19:46

Apparently tampons can be used to avoid embarrassing anal leakage

Do NOT ask me how I know that.

Flyinggeese · 13/06/2017 19:51

OP the most likely scenario is that is belongs to one of your wife's friends, who probably dropped it and didn't realise, hence saying it wasn't theirs. They must have been amused to be asked though!

It's not your problem, or down to you to prove whose is is. It's a shame your wife has jumped to this conclusion.

OMGOSH,, I hope that you don't buy the house for sale next to me, The person leaving is very strange,,and was hoping for a more sane person soon, Tampon talk is not allowed here. just gardening and stuff, !

Some of these comments 😂😂😂. Serious question though... we ever get to the bottom of 'Tampon-gate?"
