My son has lived with me with me for 10 years.

He seems ok, I can't see me living with another adult again.

Thank you again!
For the ceremony I will be in full kilt and Highland dress. She being Asian will be in an elegant sari. It's def a mixed marriage!

ShoesHaveSouls · 12/08/2017 09:14

Wow pan, great news. I remember you from years ago. Congratulations! Thanks

How ironic that a MGTOW thread ends in marriage Grin

TanteRose · 12/08/2017 09:16

Ooh lovely! Love a multicultural wedding Smile
I got married in full Japanese wedding kimono Smile

Pannnn · 12/08/2017 09:41

Yes been here off and on a while. dd was in primary school and I googled something about her which led me here. She is now half way through A Levels. Smile
Can I ask why a kimono?

IfNot · 12/08/2017 10:05

C0untDucku1a · 12/08/2017 10:09

Pannnn · 12/08/2017 10:16

Thank you.
Aye I've been Scottish ever since I was born.Grin

IfNot · 12/08/2017 10:21

Fancy! Grin
You won't remember me but in my head you were in my club of resolute singletons, so I'm having to re adjust! I'm coupled up too now but not ready for marriage.
How did you know you were ready??

TanteRose · 12/08/2017 10:25

Pan my DH is Japanese - I've lived over here for the last 25 years Smile

EvilRingahBitch · 12/08/2017 10:25

Oh Pan how lovely. I never guessed you were a stealth Scot.

Does she watch Strictly?

Pannnn · 12/08/2017 10:33

I def WAS in your club IfNot!

How did I know I was ready? She told me I was. Smile

I remember talking with a friend around Christmas and saying "When M walks into your life you do all you can to keep her there." And an increased feeling as the months went by that I was "coming home". And also a real feeling that where ever we are together, where ever it is, we are "home". I knew pretty much from the start that for her family and culture marriage is what is worked toward. Given how I felt about her, not being married to her would be absurd.

But most over, it was the feeling of being 'home' with her, and wanting to make that as permanent and subject to public recognition/status as possible.

Pannnn · 12/08/2017 10:36

Ah I thought it was something like that Tante.Smile. Thank you.

Yes Evil - she is also a Strictlier, and is planning to take more classes as she used to in the city centre.

IfNot · 12/08/2017 11:02

Ahhh!

Pannnn · 13/10/2017 20:43
