Does it bother you that women use this site also?

Sometimes very male-skewed things are discussed and I can't help feeling slightly uncomfortable when I read: "female perspective here..."

I'm sure I am BU but does anyone else feel the same? I am struggling to put into words why it bothers me but it does.

Just don't even think of looking behind the trending list, Mycat. It'll make you heave.

Had a loud mansplainer on the train we were on this morning. In the fucking quiet coach. WI have BU to have rammed the memory sticks he was explaining to the giggly girlies into every orifice he has, then in a load more he doesn't have? [rage]

BoneyBackJefferson · 04/06/2016 23:06

dust mmm

Sorry, Pan. not really sorry

All I know is that the only time I was a passenger on a quad bike, I feared for my life. Absolutely terrifying.
But then again, I have also lost my motorcycling pillion rider mojo some years ago when working in ITUs/tranplant surgery.

Some of my favourite people are men. And wimmin.

I keep threatening to get the carbon fibre loveliness hung up in the dining room as a piece of sculpture. It is gorgeous (even I can see that), but what's the point of it in the man shed?? Hmphf.

DramaAlpaca · 04/06/2016 23:11

To answer OP's original question, it doesn't bother me one bit that women use this site.

Some of my favourite posters are women Wink

And cyclists, of course Bike

FuckingFattyBitch · 04/06/2016 23:13

The only time I've seen dadsnet used is for funnies. Is it basically a man cave that you all accumulate in every now and then to have a laugh and get pissed?

PacificDogwod · 04/06/2016 23:14

Good point: who does actually use Dadsnet apart from Pan??

Coldtoeswarmheart · 04/06/2016 23:17

My Aldi had clip-on bike baskets in yesterday. I might pop back for one.

DramaAlpaca · 04/06/2016 23:18

This is the most traffic Dadsnet has seen for months, I'm sure.

MrSlant · 04/06/2016 23:18

Some of my favourite posters are people .

Signalling something?

But I like the cyclists the best Bike Bike Bike

AHellOfABird · 04/06/2016 23:20

OnYerBikePan · 05/06/2016 08:49

I think there is actually a thread in here that only gets posts every year or so...I could be wrong though.

OnYerBikePan · 05/06/2016 09:01

yes there's the sexual technics which is about 10 years old and 'is this the only dadsnet?' or such like.

A few of us come down on occasion and do a bit of maintenance work on them.

It's a bit weird that women use this site. Don't they ever look at those 3 long haired men with the children in the logo?

HoneyDragon · 05/06/2016 23:21

you're right, on looking at the logo it's obvious its for the men. Men are hirsute.

I don't know what logo you are all referring to?!
Mine has buggered off Shock

Anyhoo, 'mum' refers to chrysanthe'mums', non?

Jeanne51 · 17/02/2017 03:22
