There's a thread going in Relationships where us women are saying what are the irritations with our other halves. Loo seat up, farting in bed, that kind of thing, so... it's only fair to hear the blokes side! Off you go...

I've got another.

TALKS to me when I am trying to go to sleep. She thinks this is the time of day for discussing important matters to do with the house, finances, the kids, etc. In a stage-whisper.

Still, this is not quite as bad as what a friend's wife does. If she is lying awake thinking/ worrying in the small hours she will KICK HIM AWAKE so that they can have a conversation. My DW would get seriously short shrift if she ever tried that!!

Do you know why women do that unquietdad? It's because they have been trying to have a conversation with their dh all evening, and in bed just before sleep is the first opportunity that she gets without the bloke having distractions such as the tv/computer/x-box/whatever which cause him to completely ignore her when she is trying to speak to him!!

Funny that... now you come to mention it... she insists on trying to TALK to me when I am on the computer/ watching TV? reading the paper as well!

I asked my dp this.

He said
1)not putting things back in the fridge
2)putting stuff next to bin rather than in it (I would like to point out I would do if he had emptied the bin like he was supposed to)
3)leaving the back door open - it drives him up the wall and to be fair I have no excuse for it.

If that's all I must be pretty damn perfect

The reason she asks about where she should put the food in the freezer, is so that you don't phone her at work and ask her where chicken is kept in your house when you want some.

I used to never put CD's back in their CD cover. Used to drive XP demented. And also tapes in their tape boxes. And records in their sleeves. And videos back in their boxes.

Oh dear. I still don't do those things, and I annoy myself.

BACK SEAT DRIVING - ARgggggggghhhhhhhhh

All done from the passenger seat naturally but complete with nails in the seat and exagerated breaking movements.

Guilty as charged yer 'oner.

I'm liking this thread - my wife is slowly beginning to use'dinner' instead of tea - shes in training!!! lol but then saying that she talks funny like saying bath and grass and things like that and pronounces then with a ahhhh. so it bahhhhth not bath and graaahhhs not grass. Oh and she calls fruit concentrate squash but I call it cordial - anyone got views on that one!? who cares anyway - just for a bit of fun. Shes always telling me lots of things i do that annoy her, trust me id be here al night if i had to say what annoys me about her lol so wont even bother

ha ha ha oh ha this all so true, we are just as much a pain as they are and seeing that its nearly all the same eveywhere makes me laugh!!

I'm afraid to say to you blokes out there that - socks go into the wash bin as balls, come out like balls and so will not be washed!

I'm sure that my dh would say that I'm far too stubborn and therefore I never ever apologise when I'm wrong and he was right. I mean, we all know that women (and me in particular) are always right, even when I'm wrong. Also same as someone below said: moving things (though it's him leaving things somewhere and then forgetting where he put them) and finally my inability to read maps quickly and accurately as we are driving along.
