I scratched my chin while surveying the garden, thinking about plans and schemes.

I ate a fried breakfast with many manly rashers of bacon, and a bit of black pudding.

Lots of diy, building fixing and decorating. Just lacking the motivation to tidy up after myself.

Cleaning isnt manly, right??

PrettyInPinkPan · 27/05/2015 11:38

Kids' films are a bastard for reducing grown men to tears... Any man who can sit through the first ten minutes of Disney-Pixar's "Up" without welling up, possesses neither heart, nor soul.

Assume y'all will be macho-ly watching the England-France World Cup game Tuesday week?

Mowed the lawn, but the baby started crying.
Picked the baby up and mowed the lawn one handed, baby smiled as I explained how the two stroke engine worked.
Had beer in the sun afterwards and hung the washing out

Partlyferal · 22/07/2015 02:08

I used a 2 foot long pipe wrench to change the head on a fire hose adapter, and repaired a fire hydrant

davidla · 23/07/2015 16:07

Farted whilst sh@gging

Anticyclone · 23/03/2016 22:20

Zombie thread, and I actually did this months ago but who cares.

In desperation I had to use a public urinal with DS strapped into a chest mounted baby carrier. Much harder than I thought it would be as I couldn't see to "aim" at all. But I got through it without serious incident and I think DS was quite entertained by the whole episode.

Bought some madonna lillies last week. They refused to open up.
So I glared at them for a day or so in a very threatening manner.
They complied.

QuerkyJo · 25/03/2016 16:34

Did the garden, built a bug hotel, did not like it, moved it, built it somewhere else in a different format. Decided it would get slated on Trip Advisor so dismantled it again and had a beer.

Currently it is in bits in the garage. Is that manly enough?

PandoesnotwearRaphaclothes · 25/03/2016 18:22

Impresses me, but Tiggy is the final arbiter.

TiggyD · 25/03/2016 20:18

Sorry. Not been passing official judgement like I should have been. I'll just do this years.

Using urinals - always manly.

Looking at flowers - Not manly.

Building things - Manly.
Building things badly and having to do them again - Beardedly manly.

PandoesnotwearRaphaclothes · 25/03/2016 20:57

But but but I was glaring at them in a very manly manner!! I ask for reconsidering of judges decision.

Dismantled some furniture moved it in a van to my new house and re-mantled it all.

szj47 · 11/04/2016 21:38

Was called a MRA in a derogatory fashion today.

Currently looking into courses to become a qualified MRA. (Can't find any)

Planted big manly sunflowers with DS and DD.
