When we were looking at small cars (for a second car) we saw a few Clios but they were all owned by rally-boy-racer types.

Didn't think the souped up versions were really me though (more speakers than your average rave, blue lights behind the grill, tinted windows etc).

Saying that, the one we bought has a trendy chrome gear-knob

no the car has a name it says it on the side but i have forgotten, as you do

because they are French hence young girls think they are more stylish than the Japanese cars in the same price bracket.

I have a Saxo and all the ones we looked at were either boy-racer or old-lady cars, so obviously Citroëns don't have the same cachet as Renaults. Although I like to think I tip the balance a bit...
