Women who are attractive (in a non-sexist way)

Truckulent · 27/12/2010 08:07

To get away from the 'ugly' Word in the other thread And as we are all god's children and no one is ugly (apart from Mick Hucknall)

I thought what about an attractive thread,I bet
woman will be surprised who is considered attractive and who isn't.

When I've finished my list I'll laminate it.

Mine.

Attractive

Mariella Frostrup
Sutton Foster
Nicole Kidman
Madonna (1985)
Lucy Porter

Not so in my opinion, and this is in no way planned to demean women in any way

SJP
Posh
Katie Price
Madonna (after 1990)
Naomi Campbell

We're all beautiful in our own way, but thats my first draft.

Any more?

Kathleen Turner

Truckulent · 27/12/2010 13:24

I like Angelina Jolie and she seems to fall for co-stars in movies.

So all I need to do is star in a movie with her- and get rid of Brad.

What about 'Mumsnet-men pah'
And the sequel 'Mumsnet-this time it's about equality'

Penelope Cruz

TonyThePrawn · 27/12/2010 13:46

Penelope Cruz is odd. Maybe it's botox maybe it's brainwashing boredom but her facial expressions never seem to reach up to her eyes. She's very pretty but she has the air of a mannequin about her.

How about Claudia Winkleman? Even though she's attempting the same skin colour as a sunburnt oompah-loompah? And she said that herself. She always comes across marvellously well.

Truckulent · 27/12/2010 18:22

Kirsty Wark Is very attractive as well.

truck - are you me? I am chairman of the Mariella Fan Club. She is mine. And Kirsty is v. easy on the eye.

Others, in different ways:
Claudia Winkleman, as I posted elsewhere is just sex on a stick.
Isobelle Adjani
Sian Williams - have you seen the size of here heels?
Carrie the househelp from "Two of a Kind" (popgirl channel)
Elanor Bron
The woman in the jewellery shop near me.

Not so:
SJP - nothing remotely attractive. (Sorry dahlink. It's over. And now everyone knows)
Anjelina
Madge
Cheryl Cole is a plastic freak.

vanessa paradis?

sakura · 28/12/2010 03:01

I love the way Vanessa Paradis never bothered to get the massive gap closed in her teeth, and how she never had her tiny boobs enhanced, but is still amazingly gorgeous and effortlessly snapped up the most gorgeous man of all time: Johnny Depp [he dumped kate moss for her...]

bunnymother · 28/12/2010 03:02

Lauren Bacall and Ava Gardner? You have impeccable taste!! Esp as they were both known to be v fiesty and great fun as well as stunning.

OnEdge · 28/12/2010 03:05

Keeley Hawes ?

bunnymother · 28/12/2010 08:23

Grace Kelly was loveliness itself, I agree. And apparently far less "pristine" in RL than her screen image suggested.

Truckulent · 28/12/2010 10:12

I'd add Vivian Leigh and Elizabeth Taylor to the list as
well.

DH's favourite women:

Helena Boham Carter, especially as Bellatrix in HP!
Rachel Weisz
Audrey Tatou - he swoons every time the Chanel advert is shown
Nigella
Dr Cuddy in House ( she's got a Davis Coultard chin imho)

He obviously likes v. dark haired, v. dark eyed women, I've got the v. dark hair ( and the Nigella body ) but the palest blue eyes ever.

The only blonde he's ever really taken a shine to is Seven of nine from Voyager, can't imagine why Wink

Snorbs · 30/12/2010 14:27

What ever happened to Emma Freud? Apart from being remembered as an unfortunate bit of rhyming slang? She was lovely.

thisismyboomstick · 01/01/2011 20:11

Audrey Tatou - I swoon too, Mal.

also Helena BP, but can't stand Nigella; not her looks or anything, and I know she's just playing a role, but her manerisms are so annoying.

Snorbs · 03/01/2011 12:07

Ooh, yeah, Audrey Tatou. Yum.

I once sat through all of The Da Vinci Code, gritting my teeth at the ridiculous plot and wincing at the god-awful dialogue, just because it had Audrey Tatou in it.

walkinZombie · 22/01/2011 17:04

have you been watching friends

eeore · 25/01/2011 18:33

Maggie Gyllenhaal - and if she's not willing then her brother Jake in a wig.

or Louis in family Guy.

givemesomespace · 25/01/2011 21:38

Maud Adams - Octopussy

Caaaaaarumba .........

ifancyashandy · 30/01/2011 00:45

Wracking brain to think what rhyming slang Emma Freud refers to!

Tell me it's hemorrhoids?!

Pan · 30/01/2011 01:01

it's hemorrhoids.

Don't know if that's true.

Asteroids?

bristolcities · 23/02/2011 22:55
