I have some difficult decisions to make.
Too many choices!

I've selected my team: currently only using 80 points so may "trade up" some of my riders.

Prettybird I was the same - usually I have the opposite problem.
I traded up but not sure that was the right decision.

I selected without looking at points - so maybe that was my "problem"

I usually have three riders left and only two points!
I didn't want either of the favourites this time, everyone else seemed cheap.

I'm in - thank you Felicity. No doubt I'll keep changing the team until the deadline, and then watch all the riders I've swapped out do really well. There seem to be a lot of difficult choices to be made this year!

I don't often form an opinion about stupid spectators... but omg that crash was awful.:(

I've not seen it - but dh was and at it (he has it on his computer while watching the Lions-Japan game on the TV; I was in the kitchen rolling up sourdough croissants).

I ended up only making a minor change to my team: with the exception of Fred Wright, who I put in as a sentimental choice of a young UK rider (who was at the same races as ds but in an older age category), the rest of my team are mostly aged but experienced has-beens because o recognise their names

Definitely a stupid spectator. She wanted to get on the telly with her sign - possibly not by taking out most of the peloton though.

Oh I missed that. Busy fighting the inevitable weed army. Hope no-one was injured.

Looks like I've already lost a rider. One that I only put in in my 2nd adjustment.

Arrgghh that was terrible and I've Just seen a 2nd crash, maybe with van der Poel and Froome. Painful to watch.

As a random update, I only realised today that van der Poel is the grandson of Poulidor. (Cycling nerd alert clearly).

Wow, just seen first crash, hope there is facility for a prosecution.

Sentenced to hand washing all of the peloton kit for the next 3 weeks.

Terrible crashes. But on the positive side, what a finish!

Sorry, I have to gloat.
First (and probably last!) time my team is at the top of the league so I have to make the most of it!
I had 3 of today's top 4 in my team. It won't last, and I've probably doomed most of them to fall off before too long, but woohoo...good start!
The crashes were terrible but it certainly was an exciting stage.

I did quick tally, in our league 3 have Roglic as GC fave, 4 said Tadej Pogačar, 3 have both for GC, 2 or 3 have Thomas. Alaphillipe & S.Yates are probably the other most popular riders in our league.

Spectator who caused the first big crash may be prosecuted. A version of the spectator's sign with the words (in Dutch) "Don't fall off chaps!" was going around Twitter but since deleted. Too raw, I suppose.

Unfortunately I also have Marc Hirschi and from the reports I've just read it looks like he might not be starting tomorrow.
I can empathise as I am also nursing a broken shoulder at present. (Though I have nobody other than my stupid self to blame for mine!)
