I feel kind of sad for Dan Martin, just because this in the best form of his life, did the best time trial he could have hoped for and he's still not gonna cut the mustard for a podium place.

Well that's the season over. Not what we expected in January but chapeau to all the riders, staff and race organisers who managed to get 3 Grand Tours to the end in such a short time frame.
And of course congrats to all the league winners!
Fingers crossed for a more normal season next year.

I know I'm not riding it - but I've liked later Grand Tours. Something to watch in the autumn evenings.

This Vuelta route was hideous - confirms that designers really don't like bike riders.
