Well I avoided the Giro today in a sulk and only checked velogames in an act of self flagellation and, well . Only I can't see my son's team I think because we use the same devices so please if he's in the no 1 spot don't spoil it by telling me .

Well we appear to be in different Mumsnet Mayhem leagues, he can't see me and I can't see him but we have mostly the same people in the leagues. Nice bit of chaos!

I think it's important to look at both! Our family league from the tour was automatically recreated for the giro; in the past we've always had to make a new one. That's the one I'm ignoring as DD is beating me by 400 points.

Well another crappy day for me. To add insult to injury, a number of riders that I seriously considered but rejected for various reasons are doing really well.
But there's still a very long way to Milan and the most predictable thing about the Giro in recent years is its unpredictability. My boys still have time to come good! (If I say it often enough I might start to believe it.)

Today's winner was nearly in my team. I console myself with the fact that if I had picked him, he'd have fallen off by now.
