I haven't seen it (we were away when it came to our local teathre). But a friend took her ds1 for his 3rd birthday and they loved it, especially as he knew the book already.

Bumping for you, we are going to see it in May, hope it is good.

IlanaK · 09/02/2009 20:38

Yes, it was fabulous! It was done so cleverly as it is such a short book but they made it last an hour. I took my 4 and 7 year old and they both loved it. Though to be fair it is not aimed at the 7 year old age.

I would highly recommend it.

duckyfuzz · 09/02/2009 20:39

yes! we went in the autumn, it was fab, pretty short, as you might expect, DTs who were 5 in Dec loved it, we still sing the songs

IlanaK · 09/02/2009 20:40

"A knock at the door......who could it be.....?"

duckyfuzz · 09/02/2009 20:41

that's the one, every time someone knocks!!

queribus · 09/02/2009 20:49

It's wonderful - highly recommended! My 3 yo DD was transfixed and we still sing some of the songs.

Haven't been. Thought about it but it was very expensive...

WinkyWinkola · 09/02/2009 20:53

Yes, we've seen it. We really liked it. It was so jolly and fun.

Go and see it if your DCs like the book.

I know this is a fairly old thread but thought I would bump because we went yesterday and it was great. DD (3) was enthralled and at the end said "can we have it again" (sky+ generation don't understand that we can't rewind everything )
