DD showed me a picture of a river she had painted in school to illustrate some music she'd been listening to by Smetana

So in order to encourage any faintest hope of a love of classical music I bought her the CD from Amazon (Ma Vlast). And it's one of those bits of music that I'd heard hundreds of times and never knew the name of. Don't you just love it when that happens?

Next thing you know she'll want to visit Prague.

Well I'd better get some passports then....

and when you're in Prague, you'll be able to go to one of the many orchestral happenings and she'll hear it played by a huge professional orchestra (and it's wonderful!)

i love kids pictures n ahouse - it says SO MUCH - my dd did a particular masterpiece - modern art - flicks of paint on black paper - when she was about 4 - it was just crushingly beautiful - i framed it - and got lots of comments

my nephew drew me a rainbow picture for my new house and i have that frames - i adore it.

i haven't heard this piece - its very pretty

My dining room is full of kids pictures. School frames one each year and sells it to the parents to raise funds. I have 10 already
