Has anyone got any ideas? I am preparing to decorate DDs room [2 and 4] and would like to have a large reproduction on the wall. Am thinking busy with lots of little things going on-Breugel [spelling?] maybe or something stimulating and beautiful- Birth of Venus?
On related note does anyone know if plastic/acrylic frames are available in large A1-ish sizes and where. Or have a better idea of how to display it. Thanks

There is a painting called Carnation, Lily, Lily, Rose, utterly beautiful, here is the link:www.tate.org.uk/servlet/ViewWork?cgroupid=999999961&workid=13109. Hunters in the Snow by Bruegel is also great.

I have a ginormous A1 frame from (now let me think...) probably either Habitat or Ikea. Or you could get it block mounted (no frame)

Thank you. Lovely painting. Anymore? I could also change it every so often.

not traditional, but amazing.

There are some gorgeous Victorian fairy paintings - if you can get prints of them - things like this one or this
Richard Dadd, Kay Neilsen, Arthur Rackham - google them and see what you think.

Thanks for all the help. E-boy wow! but a bit too modern life, Kay Neilson strangely disturbing, Edmund Dulac I like but am finding it hard to find reproductions. What do you think to Pieter Brueghel the younger The Census at Bethlehem. Can't see any dog beatings. The reproductions all seem quite small though. Have located big plastic Ikea frames thanks midnight. Now to find a big enough print to fit.
