I have never been to see this, but it's on a nationwide tour again so I am considering it.
My question for anyone who has been is....

  1. Is it any good or a bit of a hype about nothing and

  2. Could I take my boyfriend or would he be the only man there and therefore is it better take my sister or girlfriends?

Thanks in advance!

I've seen it twice with different casts. Answer to your qs:

  1. really good but not for the faint hearted!
  2. boyfriend quite possibly would be the only or one of very few men there. Better to make a girly night out IMO unless you know him very well and he is not easily embarrassed!

Enjoy!

Really good - well worth a trip. I think taking a guy would be 'worse' than taking a guy to see Mamma Mia (which some of my unreconstructed male friends regard as beyond the pale - which thinks I shall make my reconstructed male friends go to see the Monologues when they are next on in Leeds!).
