Did anyone catch this absolutely sublime film by Thomas Grube, about the orchestra's Far East tour? It was a fascinating insight into an orchestra that has changed a lot under Rattle's leadership, and the strains of a life on tour.
It was just so beautifully photographed. And not a whisker of Lana Botney in evidence either - not even some thoughtful nodding

just so hapens that i switched on to watch big brother and got engrossed in this. was very good wasn't it.
