I was going to say GnR but you have that covered.

What about Black Sabbath?

Or AC/DC, Metallica, Anthrax, Motorhead, Helloween, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest.

Or Gary Moore? Maybe that's not your thing.

mybabysinthegarden · 21/03/2008 00:08

AC/DC; Metallica, Iron Maiden?

mybabysinthegarden · 21/03/2008 00:09

oops, x/p

choosyfloosy · 21/03/2008 00:09

metallica enter sandman (is that 80s?)

sisters of mercy? not my thing - went to a SoM gig in grey jersey and pearls

mybabysinthegarden · 21/03/2008 00:11

Jesus & Mary Chain, Nine Inch Nails on the goth side?

Bon Jovi acceptable if you stick to Bad Medicine and avoid Livin' on a Prayer.

vixma · 21/03/2008 00:29

iron maiden, matalica, queen, moterhead, nivana, aerosmith, cult, cure, Acdc, ZZ top, Black Sabeth, Anthrax, Sousiox and the banshees, cycle sluts from hell, sound garden (Black hole Sun, well worth a listen to 90's),

UnderRated · 21/03/2008 00:32

If the bar is being set low, you may need the Scorpians - Wind of Change

ElvinaFrizzell · 21/03/2008 00:32

Scorpions, Deep Purple and Meatloaf are some of the ones I saw in the 80s. Trying to think of who else was at Knebworth etc. Also Def Leppard, Magnum, Heart, Van Halen, Poison...

BigGitHamsterKillingDad · 21/03/2008 12:01

Asia, The Cars, Bon Jovi, Bryan Adams, Springsteen, Dire Straits, Fleetwood Mac, Rush, Status Qou and Thin \lizzy. And that's just off my ipod!
Go on Amazon and look at the rock compilations, that will give you a few ideas.
