Is the poetry club dying a death?

Oh FFS it did that 0 posts thing again!

Just wondering if anyone wants to give this another go, or has it died a death.

I've got lots of time on my hands, and I want to do more writing, but feel a bit self conscious about posting on here for fear I will be thought a ponce. At the same time I'd like to learn and get better, and I would like to read other people's poems.

Thoughts anyone?

ps - what's your degree?

TheHollyAndTheTwiglett · 10/12/2004 19:18

I did Economics and Management Studies,
A joint degree for me
Am living in SouthEast London
Just far enough away you'll see

For my family are barking mad
Love them though I do
200 or so miles
Is just enough to know

That sanity resides
Within the house of Twig
But I'll be back for Christmas
Practicing for mum's digs

Why don't you get your hair cut?
Why don't you lose some weight?
I can tell you cos I'm your mother
No-one else would, they're so fake

Yes but mum, they don't tell me
Cos its rude, you see, and cruel
And though I love you dearly
I think I'll stay in London, cos I'm nobody's fool

Grin

Hey Twig - that's spooky! I know lots of people in Hale and lots of my school friends were from Hale as I went to Alti Girls.
