Please could you help:

GREAT EXPECTATIONS ..... PIP in kitchen in scene 2.....with Mrs Joe and Joe

The thing is DS is acting with a younger boy who is PIP but he isn't very experienced so needs to be doing something while he is talking to Joe/Mrs Joe cos otherwise he is just sitting still iyswim

What can he do? It has to be mime while sitting on the floor by the fire with minimal props.

Do you think he could clean boots with a brush? We thought about him eating but then he can't speak. We tried warming his hands but he tends to stop after a few seconds.

Thanks
