Any place in London when kids can go, touch and fiddle with several musical instruments?

Hi, my son is obsessed with the double bass, violin, fiddle, piano... etc. I would like to give him the opportunity to touch at least once these instruments. Anyone knows a place where they organize workshops/introduction sessions with "proper" instruments (other than percussions and ukulele and this kind of stuff) in London? Any help appreciated. Thanks

Horniman museum in Forest Hill. Highly reccommend.

The Children's Music House at Bush Hall in Shepherd's Bush. They do 'Music Appreciation' classes where kids can try out different instruments. Think they're about £10 drop in, but you'd need to ring and find out what the timetable is and whether they've got spaces.
