Unless you know they normally do productions to a high standard I'd give this one a wide berth.
It's got lots of scope for scenery-chewing and is contending all the time with the superb Forman film in most people's minds...

Some amateur theatre companies are brilliant, though - so it could be a great night out - it is a wonderful play

It doesn't help that there is a fairly groansome Midsomer Murders set in an am-dram production of Amadeus yorkshirepudding
Watch out for Jane Wymark or John Nettles anywhere in the audience, anything might happen...!
