anyone been? do they have a little talk before/after the screening? or is it just like a normal viewing

It will vary. In my day they made it pretty clear if someone from the production was going to be there to introduce/answer questions, and we saw some great films including the premiere of Delicatessen with Jeunet and Caro on fine anarchic form
Go if you can, dh and I used to see about 10 things each Festival pre-kids

I haven't been for years but sometimes there is an introductory talk and sometimes there is a question and answer session afterwards, usually if the the producer, director, main actor or anyone else involved in the film attends the screening.
