What a sincere novel!

I come from a diametrically different cultural background and yet most of her experience is soooooooooo familiar.

It's about leaving the nest and coming back and not fitting in anymore or not wanting to, but still belonging somehow?

Really loved - and so did dh. Wished it was longer - didn't want it to end. Fascinating insight, I just loved every detail. In fact seeing your post makes me think I might have a quick re-read.
