Piano music-starting again-any suggestions for a good teach yourself book?

I have recently been re-united with my piano after a long separation.
I last played well ohh about 15 years ago, reaching Grade 7.
My treble sightreading is stilll ok ish but bass really rubbish.
I need some good music or a teach yourself book to work through to get those old skills back up and working.
Any suggestions before I stumble blindly off to the music shop?

Have you none of your old books? There are a multitude of beginner books - try the John Thompson courses, they are what I use. You will find it comes back pretty quickly

I think I want something new.
Anyway all my old stuff is at my parents surrounded by 25 A4 folders of alevel biology and revision folders etc etc
All my early years stuff went a long long time ago.
The recent stuff is too hard to pick up again and I get frustrated I can't play it straight away.
I have got a Sound of music singa alonga book and some Christmas Carols, plus the Joy of Piano.Bit boring though.
Oh and some Heller, might get started on that

John Thompson rings a bell , will have a look
thanks

Funnily enough though the piano stool which has the music in has gone missing

Check out Amazon - there is a wealth of stuff available for beginners/restarts.
Let me know how you get on - I took the piano up again 5yrs ago after a 20yr gap - and I'm now teaching it

Most encouraging story
It is good being an adult learner and being motivated to do it because you want to do it.
