dd1 saw her first film the other day at the 'home cinema' [lights out, curtains shut, popcorn and a dvd] and loved it. It was disney's cindarella, any suggestions for the next one? She's quite girly!

TIA

Mine love Happy Feet

Cinderella 2 twist in time - just got that this morning. I enjoyed it , dd is not 3 yet so lost interest quite soon. The Lion King, Finding Nemo, Beauty and the Beast and The Little Mermaid too. I love Disney films.

Jungle book is great. dd (nearly 3) loves Lady and the tramp and the Aristocats

Hayls · 15/05/2007 13:06

My 3yo dd is obsessed with films. Atm she loves Annie, Charlie and the Chocolate Fatory, Aladdin, Shrek 1 and 2, Ghostbusters , Little MErmaid, ALL the princess ones, Happy Feet and everything Disney. HTH!

TenaLady · 15/05/2007 13:07

Finding Nemo, definately

serenity · 15/05/2007 13:12

DD is 3.5 and likes

Monsters Inc
Lilo and Stitch
Magic Roundabout
Shrek films
Over the Hedge (first film she saw at the cinema)
Chicken Little
so anything cartoony and busy, but she's probably influenced by having two older brothers. She adores High School Musical, and insists on having the CDs on in the car, but that's definitely come from the DSs, if I could have avoided it I would have

wheresthevalium · 15/05/2007 13:15

My 2 DDs adore The Sound of Music

mamado · 15/05/2007 13:16

fab thank you again. She will love a lot of these.

Enough for several rainy days there!

My 3yr old charge is watching Chitty Chitty Bang Bang every night at the moment!

Aloha · 15/05/2007 13:24

Disney films she'd probably like: Sleeping Beauty, Beauty and the Beast, Alice in Wonderland.

chicaguapa · 15/05/2007 13:25

Mary Poppins? Annie?

ipanemagirl · 15/05/2007 13:33

chitty chitty bang bang is a little scary

also Bambi's mother dies which some children find traumatic!
My ds was scared of monster's Inc when he was three.

Best thing is to try and watch them yourself if you can find the time!!

Wallace and gromit are wonderful

franca70 · 15/05/2007 13:36

dd refuses to watch nemo as she's scared by the shark. she also finds maleficent from sleeping beauty quite upsetting.

ScottishThistle · 15/05/2007 13:41

Different children find different things upsetting & you won't know until they see it!...Always watch a film with your child first time round.
