Kids are 11 & 9 and we have a couple of hours to spare at the V&A next week. I've not been in years.

Any exhibits / areas that go down well with Kids?

The glass gallery is beautiful and the cast room is awe inspiring
Envious now! I love the v&a!

Oh and they may like the Japanese armour

Thanks bionic 👍. I'd forgotten about the cast room.

The paddling pool in the courtyard in front of the cafe - and lovely stained glass and faience tiles in the cafe rooms. The furniture and fashion bits often capture children's imagination, and sometimes the glass and ceramic displays.

I'd second the fabulous glass gallery.

You can borrow free activity backpacks for under 12s from the info desk. My children loved these from around age 6 to 10, so not sure if your children might feel they are too old for them.

Thanks purple. My 9yr old would probably like the backpack.
Going on Sunday, looking forward to it Smile.

The theatre costumes are fab if you like that kind of thing.
