Support group for people who did NOT enjoy Hamilton

I left in the interval. Says it all really.

Granted, it was slick and professional. But I felt that was the only thing going for it really.

The music was instantly forgettable.
Much of the 'humour' was just groan-inducing.
The plot was thin.
I'm sure I recognised many of the lyrics from the inside of Clinton's cards.

I think it's definitely the new Emperor's New Clothes. Clever marketing makes it exclusive/expensive and well-hyped. It's an ingenious piece of trickery.

I don't care for it. I think its overrated and unnecessary, I dislike the music style and I really don't care for the subject.

Seen it three times. Considering booking a fourth. It’s genius.

Underwhelmed here. I couldn't fault the singing and dancing, the performers were all so passionate and talented and I liked the revolving stage. But, I did find my mind wandering a lot, I didn't get caught up in it at all, some of it was a bit jumbled and confusing. We thought it needed a narrator just to pull it all together. The second half is definitely better, but for me it just dragged on and on. It seemed to have quite an abrupt ending.

I've definitely seen worse but I am at a loss as to why people think it's so amazing and go back time and time again. We did read up about Alexander in detail afterwards and I now realise why it's so important that he is recognised for what he achieved.

Some of the audience were so distracting, I kept wondering if we were watching the same thing - all that hysterical laughter and whooping. Myself and a woman next to me didn't join in the standing ovation at the end and got glared at. Strange experience all round.
