Hay on Wye fest...anyone going? anyone been with kids?...top tips please

we plan to go for half term ...what is the est way to book kids stuff

just had a look on the hay on wye website and there's nothing to see until beginning of May in the way of events calendar. The fringe runs alongside the book festival so I think they'll provide stuff for kids. Do you know Hay? Been there before? I've been quite a lot without kids but there'll be more for families during the festival
