What seas what shores what grey rocks and what islands
What water lapping the bow
And scent of pine and the woodthrush singing through the fog
What images return

Then all time is unredeemable............

The laws of God, the laws of man
He may keep that will and can
Not I: Let God and man decree
Laws for themselves and not for me;

And if my ways are not as theirs
Let them mind their own affairs.
Their deeds I judge and most condemn
Yet when did I make laws for them?

I have a beautiful hard back book with that in it....................

Off to find the publication date of my book. I loved it.

S'cuse me but I notice nobody is bothering to guess my poem in post 21:43.

I bought it in 1983.... just a minute ago, or..........nearly 25 years old.
