Warthog, you're not weird. It's wonderful that you feel so passionate about something.

IntergalacticWalrus · 22/03/2007 13:43

Mine too warthog

My inner snob comes out when they do things like that.

IntergalacticWalrus · 22/03/2007 13:45

I love Bach's Lute Suites played by John Williams - a very underrated part of Bach's repertoire. I am typing this whilst listening to some Henry Purcell Suites, which are also very good.

Oh, you've inspired me, I hardly ever listen to classical music at the moment. I love Bach's Brandenburg concertos and Mozart's mass in C minor (first ever choral piece I sang in as part of a choir) also Beethoven's symphony no. 9, can't beat it.

DANCESwithaTruckLoadOfMiniEggs · 22/03/2007 18:02

DAMMIT...I forgot I lost my mass in c minor cd, curses. Anyone recommend a good recording, I need to replace it.

Jessicatmagnificat · 23/03/2007 09:05

Has anyone heard Arvo Part's "Benjamin Britten - In Memoriam" (or something like this, I can't remember the exact title). I've only heard it once, but what a haunting piece of music, and the bells are used to good effect.

warthog · 24/03/2007 12:20

no, haven't heard it...
