ooh I went to the recording of the one that's on next week in which John Hegley interviews Jack Dee - it was great (and more poems to look forward to)

Ooh hooray a fan - I thought I was alone there for a minute!

I saw him some years ago - he's great - I love his long bendy handsand of course the glasses.

Think you might be able to listen again on the R4 site.

Isn't he great? I've seen him two or three times live and find him really interesting as well as extremely funny. Someone I work with knows him vagualy via having had children at the same time as him and been in the same ante-natal classes etc and said he was a really nice guy.

Molesworth · 01/02/2007 14:16

There were plenty of laughs to be had yes! It's quite a thoughtful interview format rather than a comedy programme per se, so it was more chuckling than guffawing

Jack Dee read out a lovely poem by Billy Collins, also talked about having his house exorcised and what he did before he went into comedy.

Oh I do love him

TinyGang · 01/02/2007 14:26

There's something about a man that can make you laugh isn't there? I think a sense of humour is one of the most attractive things a person can have.
