London outings - how old should a child be?

Our little boy is about to turn 2 and I'm thinking about taking him to one of the London attractions such as the Aquarium, and/or Science/National History Museums.
Is he old enough to enjoy any of these? Would welcome any advice, thanks.

My 22 month old would love all of those, but only in shortish bursts, and with plenty of snacks and breaks to run around. He's not very discerning though ;)

When DS was 2, even younger, he adored places like the aquarium and any and every museum we went to. What he got out of it was different than when he was 3, or now at 4, and obviously very different from what he'll get out of them when he's bigger, but he still enjoyed himself immensely.
