What would you choose for your karaoke song at a big party?

Let's imagine that you are not a great singer but not tone deaf either. What song would you choose????

Go for something that everyone will know and join in with - like American Pie, or Hey Jude - and do everything you can to encourage a bit of audience participation!

If i was an unconfident singer i would choose soemthing i know very well and is veeeery easy. Corrs songs are easy peasy. Or something like amarillo. I sometimes do fame for the comedic value !!

I have only ever done it once, when very very drunk, and my song was Hey Jude (and I am a terrible singer but nobody groaned or laughed )

I wasn't sure about culture vulture section either, but if not here then where???

jeez, i take karaoke far too seriously

I only did i once and did 'brown girl inthe ring' with my friend - she is Japanese and cannot read English well so she just did the LALALALALA bit. It is a fun song and we just danced around and giggled and everyone joined in.
