I'm about to book to see this in the theatre. I have a seven year old who loves the theatre and would like to take him but just wondering about suitability. I know there is swearing in the book - is there swearing in the play? Has anyone been who can advise? Many thanks.

Not seen it yet but I thought it was advised for 11+.

The theatre advise 11 plus.

When it was screened live in the cinema it was a 12a. This was later changed to 15 certificate for the Encore screenings.

I wouldn't take my 10 year old due to the content (& I took him to Billy Elliot so am not a prude with regards to swearing) but I would take my 13 year old.
